The Town of Clayton, in compliance with NC General Statute 143-129 and Town Policy, is excited to commence advertising solicitations for construction/repair projects, professional services, other services, and all purchases of goods and apparatus, to the North Carolina Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) website. Access the Town's listings by clicking Bids by Departments, scroll down and select "NON-STATE - Town of Clayton".

IPS is a State of North Carolina free online bid posting system. Suppliers can view and download solicitation documents directly from the website. Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to view solicitation documents.

In order to receive notices and updates on solicitations posted to IPS, suppliers must be registered with IPS on the North Carolina electronic Vendor Portal (eVP).

All entities doing business with the Town, including suppliers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, must comply with the requirements of Article 2, Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes, "Verification of Work Authorization."

Businesses, Nonprofit Corporations, Limited Liability Corporations, Limited Liability Partnerships, and Limited Liability limited Partnerships are required to register with the North Carolina Secretary of State's Office prior to conducting business in the State of North Carolina

It is the Vendor's responsibility to obtain all solicitation documents and updates via the IPS website. The Town is not responsible for direct distribution of solicitations and addenda posted on IPS to parties who wish to submit a proposal, gather information, or conduct business with the Town. Contact the issuing Town Department or Engineering Firm named in the solicitation document for Construction Bid Documents.
